Chances lost
and losses past,
all that I touch
will never last.
If you only knew
how wicked my heart
can really be.
Don't let it start.
So it would seem
that I'm so strong,
that I can weather
any storm.
But no one knows,
and no one sees,
and no one hears,
the way I break.
I realize now
that everyone
from time to time
will come undone.
It's been so long
since I've seen clear;
my silent screams
are all I hear.
Like grains of sand
my dreams fall through
my grasping hands;
I can't hold on.
Those who dare
to know my heart,
will in the end
be torn apart.
I'll crush your heart,
I'll break your soul,
I'll shatter you
She sat beneath
The oak tree's shade
Confessing her heart's grief.
Pleading to her
Goddess fair she
She prayed for months for some relief.
It seemed as if
Her woeful tears
Would drown her in the end.
Through a broken
Heart and soul
She wished for all the scars to mend.
As dusk drew nigh
Upon the vill
He strode in with the wind.
His golden hair
And gentle eyes
Accented by his boyish grin.
The angel saw
The one he thought
He'd lost so long ago.
The little elf
Of moonlight faith
Who touched his heart like none could know.
Deep within his
Chest he felt
His heart both break and soar
To see her there
Where they once
My mirror's reflection, why do you weep?
I yearn to feel his touch. . . .
But the world you live in cannot reach his.
Maybe if I break through. . . .
You know how dangerous that is, dear one. . . .
Yes, but . . . why does it have to be this way?
Just as I know the answer, my shadow, you know it as well.
I. . . .
You live your life in a delicate cage,
Wrought with bars of dreams,
Beyond the unseen mirror's gaze,
Beyond the fluid, silver seams.
The more you try to shatter through,
The mirror we speak of.
The more you will destroy the one,
The one you've grown to love.
Why. . . .
Twilight falls and once again
I slip into my dreams,
Wrapped in stars and moonlight,
I search for what the visions mean.
The stars tell of my broken past,
And with each falling star,
I shed a tear for those I've lost,
I wonder where they are. . . .
The gentle winds, they whisper,
Of present day and time,
I feel the void around me,
But still the hand I know holds mine.
The moon foretells my future,
She shows me things I fear,
I close my eyes to see the truth,
I seek the silence to truly hear.
Nightfall brings me solace,
The snow drifts through the clouds,
Like scattered hopes and wishes,
Beneath the twilight shroud.
Our tale began with a smile and a flower,
Beneath the moonlight shadows' gaze.
Within your eyes, I saw my future,
Within your heart, I found my place.
But within us both, a dark storm raged. . . .
We closed our eyes, forgot the world,
And opened our hearts at long last.
We took a chance to believe in a dream,
To forget the pain and loss of the past.
Sometimes, we just lose ourselves. . . .
Though my touch seared your soul,
And my words broke your heart,
You still held me close,
Never to part.
Love cuts the deepest wounds. . . .
When you're hurt, a part of me dies,
Deep within, the light grows dim,
You are my light, my hope, m
Let me be your guiding light,
Lest darkness make you fall.
Surrender to what lies within,
The truth inside us all.
Let me shoulder any pain,
That weighs upon your heart.
I'll always be here by your side,
Please let me be a part.
Let me listen to your dreams,
Your hopes, your fears, your soul.
True happiness is here with you,
You needn't speak at all.
Let me take your hand in mine,
And walk this path with you.
I don't know where this life will lead,
But together we'll make it through.
The truest things you'll find in life,
Are things you cannot see.
Take a chance to dream and believe.
Close your eyes and set your heart free
The mind confuses the heart,
And the heart bemuses the mind,
As our souls cry out from the visions,
Of our lives in an archaic time.
The three who are one are in chaos;
The triad remembers their fate.
But some things are best left forgotten;
For us it's already too late.
Pandora's Box has been opened,
Undone thrice by destiny's hand.
Will we succumb to the trials?
Is it more than our hearts can withstand?
To remember a bond so eternal,
One that guided us back to this day.
Each wishes the other two solace,
Each would die if it brought forth a way.
The lone muse grew silent for ages,
Surrounded by a world so untrue.
Now full
My guiding light, my shining star.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
You held my hand and dried my tears.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
Through all the lies and all the fears.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
Unconditionally, unfaltering.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
The hours you spent, tending to my needs.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
You gave me strength, and the will to breathe.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
You showed me hope and taught me to believe.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
The love you gave . . . how didn't I see?
Always there, yo
My guiding light, my shining star.
Always there, you were always there. . . .
You held my hand and dried my tears.

I dug through a few of my old journals and compiled some of the poems I've written in the last few years. I submitted them here so that I have them all in one place. They aren't much really, but maybe someone will enjoy them. ^_^;
